driving and shooting

Fortunately in Portugal I got to relax and rest a little bit due to the no wind conditions as after the trip to Portugal I really needed every bit of energy.
I came back home where I had 2 days to pack all my things for the next 6 month (as I am on an around the world ticket now and might not come back home for quite a long time) and to take care of my tax report which was long overdue. I am still amazed that I actually managed to finish everything. I left home the next morning at 6 in the morning in a rental car and now started my journey through Germany. First I went on a 6-hour drive to “Nuerburgring” for a car race where I had a meeting with my manager and a potential sponsor. It was a very exciting day and I got to sit in the racecars and everything was explained to me. Well, it is quite amazing how much money there is in that sport and, no questions, how professional car racing really is. As for the success of the meeting I will let you know as soon as possible. After an exiting day at the race I now had to drive another 7 hours to continue my Germany journey. The next morning at 10 o’clock I had to be in St. Peter Ording for a photo shooting for “Mazda”. So I drove and drove and drove and arrived in St. Peter at midnight, got into my hotel room and kind of slept in the next morning. At 10 the whole shooting crew got together for a first meeting and we made first plans for the day before we were off to the beach about 30 minutes later. The weather was unbelievably nice and we were so lucky! Blue skies and strong wind. Perfect for our shooting! So we kept working all day until dark, getting all motives done with and without Mazda, with and without Kite, with me and with Nils (the other model) and with a lot of fun and driving and kiting and so on. It was great! The crew was awesome, the photographer Gudrun Muschalla super fun to work with and the pictures really nice.
