After a really long PKRA World Cup in Germany I had one week to rest and recover my shoulder. Then I went to Brazil for the next KPWT tour stop.

And while I was kind of looking forward to going back to the KPWT tour which is supposed to be the "overall tour" where every rider competes in all the disciplines, it turned out a bit different after all...

From day one we were getting up at 6 in the morning and riding until sunset. And while we rode waves at the wave spot we moved the whole competition to the freestyle spot in the afternoon - one day we even all moved to the lagoon to ride 5 heats of freestyle there...

Well, so much moving around competition site obviously brought some logistical problems, some mistakes and long waiting periods with it. This also influenced the mood of the riders that was getting worse and worse every day, also encouraged by the extemely weired judging...

In the end, and even though I was the overall winner of the competition and had 5 huge trophys to bring home, I was once more pretty upset and disillusioned about kiteboarding competitions ...
