Before Beijing

For a TV recording for the German TV channel RBB I went to "Sportscentre Kienbaum" on Thursday where a TV show with the name "Shortly before Beijing" was filmed.

In the sports center here in Kienbaum more than one third of all the German Olympics had been preparing for the Games. What exactly they have been doing here and what was importand for them to find in Kienbaum the TV crew from RBB was about to find out.

I felt very honored to be part of this Pre-Olympic production, especially as I was able to explain kiteboarding on the beach of a close lake... unfortunately with no wind, but at least with the equipment... After all not everybody can become an Olympic Athlete, but a kiteboarder almost everybody can become!!! :)

The first part of the show already aired on Friday, but for those of you that live in Germany the second part will be on RBB on monday at 10 to 5 (which is also the name of the show).
