A wind lull was the reason for her sudden dropping out of the sky while doing a big move. As she landed plane on her board she broke her ankle. Diagnosis: fractured fibular, 6 weeks break. But the German Kiteboarder stays positiv "I will have a good break and hopefully I will be able to collect enough points later on in the season." Most likely Boese is only going to miss one event. With noquestions she will be back in shape in time for the Colgate Kitesurf World Cup in St.Peter Ording/Germany in August. "After all I would like to defend my Kitecross World Title. The Colgate World Cup in Germany is the only big even in my home country and I always look forward to it a lot. "

From 23rd till 31st of August the biggest Kitesurf-Event in the world will take place in St. Peter Ording/Germany. With the disciplines Course race, Kitecross and Freestyle as well as 50.000 Euro price money the event sets standards. In 2007 more than 110.000 visitors came to the beach.
