Kristin Boese becomes "Kitesurfer des Jahres 2008"

www.actionsportsawar.de (20.12.2008): Next to winning her 8th world championship title this year Kristin Boese also won the official election "Kitesurfer des Jahres 2008"
Readers of the German Magazin Kiteboarding.de were able to nominate their favorite kiteboarders into the "Action Sports Awards". The top five riders were then competing in a second ballot. Kristin Boese got the most votes in this election and can now choose a place for her "Action Sports Awards Trophy 2008".
That Kristin really earned this title she clearly showed with her 8th world championship title (course racing) and with her other projects that she runs to promote the sport like her honorary Girls Camp and 2 instructional books.
First contact with Watersport came for Kristin through Windsurfing. In 2002 she watched a kitesurfer on the beach and became curious. A few weeks later she was trying it herself and since has been inseparable from her kite.
