Vogue 30 year anniversary Issue with Kristin Boese
22.09.09

Vogue is agelessly elegant, elitist and grand – a magazine for women who are well-educated and have a high income. The “fashion bible” attracts its readers with slogans like “before it is in fashin, it is in Vogue”.

The German Vogue has been published by Conde Nast since 1997. About 24.000 copies of the magazine are delivered to subscribers every month, another 70.000 are sold at newsstands.

The October Issue – a jubilee edition – comprises 732 pages in three different magazines. The black issue was photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, the red one containes pictures by Peter Lindbergh and finally the golden one was designed by Bruce Weber.

Bruce Weber follows his German roots with his camera and finds them in such public figures as the “Berliner Bear”, kitesurf world champion Kristin Boese and singer Max Rabe.

The 3 versions of the jubilee edition are available in October 2009.
