The German in fourth place after today's races

Nine-fold world champion Kristin Boese is improving her performance at the Palmolive Kitesurf Worldcup from round to round. Twice she started on Monday in Course Racing and finished both heads as number three.

“If I manage to get used to the light wind, there is a good chance for me to secure a place on the podium” 33-year-old Kristin believes, who so far is number four in the list.

Steph Bridge from the UK and Katja Roose from the Netherlands have won one of the races each. In the leading position still is Caroline Adrien from France.

With the men Bruno Sroka from France is dominating the races. He is followed by Rolf van der Vlugt from the Netherlands. The best German racer is Armin Harich, taking the tenth place so far. Dirk Hanel, Germany’s fastest kitesurfer has good chances to improve his 13th place.

The audience could watch a number of exciting races while the sun was shining from a blue sky. The races are to be continued on Tuesday.

115 participants from 22 nations have registered for the Palmolive Kitesurf World Cup in Sankt-Peter-Ording. They compete in the disciplines Freestyle, Course Racing and Big Air. This event is one of the stops of the PKRA World Tour 2010 and the only tour stop in Germany.
